With Hurricane Dorian still meandering about, I ask that you join me in offering prayers for all who are in the storm’s path and prayers of thanksgiving for an uneventful storm season here at home.
In addition to collecting storm relief items, Good Shepherd Church, we will extend our school supply drive and will ship those items to affected areas as well. Post-storm items that will be needed include: Cleaning supplies (bleach, soap, pails, paper towels, Swiffer pads, etc.) Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc.) Diapers Underwear Socks Non-perishable food items Please make certain that all items are new and unexpired. We are not able to accept used or opened items of any type. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your check payable to Good Shepherd Church and make a notation that it is for storm relief. Monetary donations will be used to help purchase additional supplies and/or to help defray the cost of delivery to the storm area. Our collections will continue each Sunday until further notice. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know or see Mrs. Heidi LaGarde, our Missions Coordinator or Mr. D.J. Estopinal, our Emergency Response Coordinator. In Christ’s Service, Rev’d Graf
