Missions

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our efforts to raise money for the Ukrainian refugees. In just a couple of weeks, we were able to raise over $1,000 which will be sent to Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) to be used at the border of Ukraine and Poland to get food, water, medical aid, and other necessities to those fleeing war.

In April, we will be collecting for the Woman's New Life Clinic. Our very own Women's Guild is spearheading this mission with a Baby Bottle Campaign that you will be hearing more about on Sunday at church. The Woman's New Life Clinic is located on S. Claiborne in New Orleans, literally next door to Planned Parenthood. It is a Christian-based healthcare organization serving the women of our community and offering medical, mental health, and social services to woman who are pregnant. As a Christian, faith-based organization, the Woman's New Life Clinic offers a much needed alternative to Planned Parenthood. Please make you donation payable to Good Shepherd Church, noting on the check and/or envelope "Woman's Clinic".
