Items for UNO Bags

As a reminder, Noah Huntley and Kristen Haynes are helping us start an outreach ministry to the University of New Orleans campus.

On November 29, just in advance of finals, they will be handing out "End of Semester Survival" bags to students. The bags will contain all sorts of goodies for students such as snacks, bookmarks, prayer cards, and more, along with contact information for the church.

We are still in need of some items but we are NO LONGER IN NEED OF CANDY. If you would like to help, items that we could use include:
Granola bars
Highlighters
Chewing gum
Sticky notes
Pens/Pencils
Individually wrapped snacks such as pretzel and gold fish

Again, we have received A TON OF CANDY, so unless you will also be donating vials of insulin, please DO NOT bring in more candy! We will collect items through Sunday, November 28.

On Sunday, November 28, if you would like to volunteer, we need a few folks to help put the bags together. We'll assemble the survival bags in the conference room after the 10:00 AM Holy Eucharist.
