Ecumenical Worship

On Thursday, July 19, Good Shepherd Church canceled our own evening Holy Eucharist in order to travel across the river to Marrero to worship at Life Center Cathedral. Good Shepherd Church joined with members and clergy of Christ Our Savior Anglican Church in Madisonville, St. Stephens Anglican Church in Metairie, Life Center Cathedral, and Interfaith Communications International in praying worshiping and praying together for the persecuted Christian Church throughout the world.

The guest speaker that evening was Bishop Andudu Adam Elnail. Bishop Endudu hails from the Sudan and spoke of the adversities facing the Christian faithful of the Darfur Region of the world.
