COVID-19 Vaccines

The State of Louisiana currently reports in excess of 100 pharmacies that are offering the vaccination for COVID-19, and no less than a half dozen are in Jefferson Parish.

If you meet the criteria for Phase 1B of vaccination, these pharmacies may be a readily accessible means for receiving the vaccine. Criteria for Phase 1B require meeting one of the following conditions:

• age 70 or older
• patient or provider of home health services
• work in an outpatient or urgent care health setting
• work as health-related support personnel (labs, mortuary, pharmacy)
• resident, student, faculty or staff of a school of allied health
  
• behavioral healthcare provider or staff
• dental provider or staff
• renal patient receiving dialysis or dialysis provider
