On Friday, June 3, 2022, the Luminari Boys Choir from The Woodlands, Texas performed and beautiful concert in the sanctuary of Good Shepherd Church. This marked the second year in a row that this choir has included Good Shepherd Anglican Church as a venue in their summer traveling. Upon leaving Good Shepherd on Saturday morning, the boys headed out to perform at churches in Pensacola, Florida, then Mobile, Alabama, and then back to Louisiana on Tuesday, June 7 for their final Summer 2022 performance at Holy Cross Anglican in Baton Rouge. This summer's tour was entitled Darkness Into Light: Messages of hope in times of strife and proved to be a beautiful and uplifting musical experience. If you were unable to be with us in person for the concert, you can still enjoy it by viewing it in replay on our YouTube channel by clicking on the video link below. A very BIG thank you to those who helped make this event possible, including Mel Aucoin for preparing space for the boys to bunk down, Carla Scallan and Margaret Aucoin for preparing an incredible Friday evening dinner for the choir, and our Men's Club, especially Mel Aucoin, Joe Deibel, Mike Englebracht, Noah Huntley, and Don Peters for serving a great Saturday morning breakfast.
