Our next Yard Sale will be held on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4. If you have items you would like to donate, please bring them to church on Sundays. As the date gets closer, we'll be looking for volunteers to help set up, price, and sell.
The weekend for May 17-19, we will be hosting Evangelism Life Weekend. The weekend kicks off on Friday evening with dinner followed by worship. Teaching will continue all day on Saturday with breakfast and lunch being served at church. The weekend will culminate with our Pentecost Sunday service. The event is free but we are asking parishioners to sign up in the narthex for a headcount for food. Each week, the Eternal Flame sanctuary lamp is changed out and blessed. If you would like to offer the Eternal Flame in memory of a loved, please see the Eternal Flame red folder in the narthex for open dates. The suggested minimum honorarium for Eternal Flame dedication is $15. The 2024 calendar book is now open. Adult Bible study continues in the Book of Isaiah each Monday evening at 6:30 PM in the conference room. Please join us! Our Wednesday evening discipleship class meets each Wednesday, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. We are studying "To Be a Christian" the official catechism of the Anglican Church in North America. If you would like to join this class, please see Fr. Randall+. Please be reminded that we continue to collect non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans. You may bring in donations and place them in the food collection box in the narthex. If you are in need of assistance with something due to accident, illness, or other unplanned life event, please drop a note in the "help box" in the narthex. Parishioners have signed up to be Shepherd's Helpers for those in need by cooking, transportation to doctor visits, small repairs, and other odds and ends. For more information, please see Joe Edwards, Sarah Noel, or Fr. Randall. Would you like to honor a birthday, anniversary, or other celebration? Would you like a deceased love one prayerfully remembered? Complete one of the blue Celebration and Remembrance forms located in the narthex. The suggested minimum honorarium for a Celebration or Remembrance is $5. If you would like to serve as lay reader for any of our services, please see Kelly Frilot to get placed in rotation on the schedule.
